Monofoll Tank
- consists of a long stroke pneumatic piston and a self-cleaning & self-rotating blade that punches down the cap of marc into the must below, rotating and wetting it without tearing
- It can be mounted on new or existing small and medium sized tanks
- available for closed top and open-top, floating lid tanks, with capacities ranging from 20 to 300 hl
- lightweight mechanism that can be easily removed at the end of fermentation
- Thanks to its self-rotating and self-cleaning blade it covers the entire surface of the cap of marc in just a few cycles
- the skin cap is mixed completely and affectively, since it is gently submerged and turned upside down
- The rounded edges of the blade totally respect the skin, massaging it without breaking
- entirely made of stainless steel and only needs a link to a compressed air source to move the cylinder
- An electric control box allows for manual or automatic cycles, also allowing the setting of working and pause sequence and cylinder stroke timing
- All moving parts are not touching the tank walls and skins are pressed without grinding
- Especially suitable for soft skinned grapes, it is the only system that simulates the traditional methods of punch downs in red wine making
- easily mixes and turns around the skin cap without producing additional solids
- can be equipped with many useful accessories
- fixed or mobile oxygenization systems
- marc extraction blades
- heat-exchange jackets on the bottom or sides of the tank
- PLC-equipped control panels to set punch down phases and times of each fermentation stage
