E-Float

A System for must Clarification in Tanks

  • get your white must cleared quickly and economi¬cally with E-Float
  • clarification of must is achieved by the incorporation of inert gas into the suspended solids
  • suspended solids are further bound together with the recommended use of specific gelatin products like AEB's GELSOL
  • The gas combines particles in suspension and they float towards the surface of the tank leaving a clear must at the bottom
  • massive power savings by eliminating the refrigeration time required with cold settling
  • Free up your tanks faster! 50 tons of fruit at 9am can be inoculated on the same day using E-FLOAT
  • Issue of tank space for winery operations and crushing extends to the quality of the product and can have ramifications, e.g. delaying optimum picking time.
  • The capital cost of E-FLOAT is less than one tenth of a similar rated centri¬fuge
  • A 50 % labor savings comparing to cold settling
  • can be operated at higher or lower rates of speed to control the percentage of solids removed
  • equipped with a removable screen to eliminate skin and seeds during the process
  • mounted on a stainless steel cart for easy mobility in the cellar

PRODUCTION CAPACITIES FOR BRIGHT MUST

E-FLOAT MODELCAPACITY (HECTOLITERS PER HOUR)
E-FLOAT 1090-130 HL/HR
E-FLOAT 20200-250 HL/HR
E-FLOAT 40370-430 HL/HR

PRODUCTION CAPACITIES FOR LESS CLARITY IN MUST

E-FLOAT MODELCAPACITY (HECTOLITERS PER HOUR)
E-FLOAT 10180-250 HL/HR
E-FLOAT 20320-400 HL/HR
E-FLOAT 40580-700 HL/HR

It is recommended that the must is thoroughly de-pec¬tinized before beginning floatation process. Enzymes such as Endozym Micro or Endozym ICS 10 Éclair both work well for this function.

For optimum results, it is also recommended to use a specific gelatin, like AEB GELSOL, that facilitates the formation of larger sized flocculate thus eliminating the highest percentage of solids from the must.
